Page layout gets corrupted with 2 menus

Hello,

I'm trying out Milonic for one of the websites that I'm building.

The layout of the site is following:

A 760px centered table, always stretched to 100% height.
On the top and bottom there is an images based menu.
The top menu items drop open downwards
The bottom menu items drop open upwards (openstyle="up")

I've got everything to work flawlessly except 1 thing. In Internet Explorer (Mozilla browsers are OK) there is a space between the end of the main table (the 100% height table) and the bottom of the browser window. The space is exactly the same height as the tallest submenu. As if the browser is accounting for the submenu in case it opens up downwards.

Does anyone have an idea how to fix that?
