Current Page Indicator (Repost)

Sorry to be boorish, but there have been no responses in the "Help" forum, so I'm reposting in this one in hopes that someone might either offer some suggestions of tell me to bug off/get over it.

Quote:
I have set the current page font and background colors, and this seems to work in most instances. However, if the link to a menu or submenu item has the same filename.filetype (e.g., default.asp), it seems that all links that end in the same filename.filetype are indicated as though they are the current page. Look at http://www.nchica.org/Archives/default.asp for an example. Note that the Yellow Pages menu item has gold type (current page ind.). Pull down the HIPAA Resources menu and note that two of the items there are also gold. Finally, the Archives link in the About NCHICA menu is also gold, and this is correctly indicated as the current page.

Is this behavior by design? Couldn't the menu system include the complete URL to know what the current page is, instead of just the filename.filetype? Or am I missing something?

Thanks to all. Especially to Andy for a great system!

Jim

This has been fixed with version 3.5.02. I'll try and get it released this week.

I seem to be more and more getting busier every day

Cheers

Andy,

Thank you for your attention to this. I appreciate that you have decided to fix this "issue". I apologize if I seemed to be nagging, as that was not my intent. Given my skill level I was quite prepared for a "You Dummy" sort of response. You have done a great job with this menu system and I'm thankful to have it in the toolbox.
