Opera 6.01 and menu width

Andy....A friend of mine advised me that with Opera he noticed the menu width to be several screens wide at 1280 resolution. It looks like it made each menu item a screen width from his description.

On similar matter, upon resizing his screen a couple of times after the page loaded the menu disappeared altogether. It only reappeared when he refreshed....

I thought I would bring it to your attention Andy, as I know the last few versions have tried to address Opera issues.

The site this happened with is http://www.dracoblu.com

PS- Are you aware of any IE filter issues with the latest version? I can't get gradient wipe to work anymore. It had been prior to my download of v3.4.03 (I had 3.3.19 most recently)

Just a footnote to the PS in my previous post. It appears the IE filter issue is limited to IE5.5. I am told the filter appears to work in IE6....

Menu width in Opera

I was having the same problem with a horizontal menu in Opera that ran way, way off the right side of the screen. I fiddled with it until it worked. The problem was in the 'Alignment' attribute. I had it set to 'center'. When I erased 'center', the menu became the proper size in Opera.

Hope this helps,
Mike
