:(

Hello all,

Please help!

I created a side menu and set the table to keep everything to the right of the pathway for this menu which moves up and down when you scroll through the page. In IE, it look s great, but in Netscape, my table is not moved over, and that same menu is scrolling right over the left portion of the rest of the page.

What could I have done wrong?

TIA (immensely for any help you can offer). :-)

Hi Tia,

I've tested your menu in Netscape 4.79.
Everythings works well, except for the main menu. When on mouse-over, the mouse is positioned exactly upon the text, instead of an arrow an "I" is being displayed..

Greetings,
Trytrix

It's very kind of you to help me and I most certainly think you for your time in doing so :o

But...
I am not sure of your meaning. :?

I HAVE made a fix ( of sorts) since my original post here.

What I had done to try to shift the table over so that the text and photos in the website remain to the right side of the main menu that scroll up and down with the visitors scrolling of he page, is to place several period marks in that first table cell under the point where the menu lies.
Then, I made the font color for those period marks, the same as the background color so that those marks are invisible.
You will notice this if you hold your mouse down and move across that first table cell above the menu. Doing that will highlight those period marks. If you or anyone else were to go to that website and try it, you will right away understand what I am trying to do. 8O

So, I suppose for now, my problem is solved, but I sure would like to know why I can't keep a table cell from shrinking in size even though I placed eith a statement inside of the td /td HTML asking ofr either 10% or 100 pixels.

Thank you again for your help in checking this.
