loadWait Problem

I am running into a problem setting the loadWait=1 property. When I set this property to 1 , the submenus do not display anymore. 8O I am seeing this problem on Internet Exployer 5.50 and Netscape 4.7 . Netscape 6.1 works as it should. I am using Version 3.5.02 of mmenu.js.

Does anyone have any suggesions? I would really like to not show the menu until the page has loaded.

Interesting, my version of the menu (MadToast) doesn't have that option. However, as I am using a floting menu, it is not important to the page structure that it load quickly, and for speed of page loading, I did in fact put the two scripts near the end.

If you have a static page, do you not want the menu to load quickly? And/or does it make any difference/is it possible to put the menu into a table or box of defined size, so that the rest of the page carries on loading happily?

LoadWait is in the mmenu.js file (which I thought was untouchable). I see there are branching routines later on which check the value of LoadWait.

Makes me want to learn Javascript. /mfurf
