Vertical positioning on dropdown menus bound to cell

Hi there,

I'm experimenting with Milonic's dropdown menu array bound to several cells/images in a horizontal table. Why? The page layout is set to center in the browser window, which works in IE and NN 4.X, but not NN 6 and 7...so I can't make pixel placement predictions for 3rd party views.

After finally getting the menus to display, I'm left with two issues...

1) I can't seem to adjust the vertical placement of the menus, which need to start at 120 pixels from the top of the page...or 15 pixels from the top of the cell. I tried adjusting the MenuTop variable, but it has no effect.

2) Once I bind the menus to the cells in a 15px high row/table, the row doubles height in IE on publish...though it published correctly prior to adding the PlaceMenu code. NN 7 displays the proper row height--go figure. (How it's coded now is the only way I've been able to get it to display/get around issues with NOF 5.x code placement & generation.)

Does any one have any recommendations? I'm stumped.

Hot dog...problem solved...kinda. It didn't occur to me that I could split the PlaceMenu and mouseover/popup code in different cells.

Sorta Solution - two rows...mouseover code on top row with image, PlaceMenu code in second row cell beneath image. No mystery row height expansion in IE6. 1 px expansion in NN7, and maybe 10 px on NN 4.76 (though dropdowns still won't show in 4.x)

Allison:
Like your website layout.
Tell me how you made your verticle drop down menus?

I'm working on creating a new look entirely to my church website.

I'm at First Baptist Church Longwood, Florida
