popup() not supported (yet)?

Since v3 does not play well with existing rollover events but does allow you to menu over images, and v4 does play well with rollovers but does NOT allow you to menu over images, is it in the works to allow image rollover in v4?

I started playing with including mmenus4.js and mmenudom.js and using
the

<a href=# onmouseover=popup("mainmenu") onmouseout=popdn()>

HTML code from v3, but I got some flaky results with the video refresh (i think)...

any thoughts?
