How do I show different menus defined in menu_data.js?

On a home page for a club we have one open section and three different sections for members only. Therefore, I have one menu for the open section and three other menus for different type of members. When members log in they will see the open menu and the menu belonging to the type of member they are.

I have done this by defining different files of the type

menu_dataopen.js with only “Main Menu” and
menu_datamember.js with both “Main Menu” and “Menu2”

It works but I have to update up to four different files (since there are three different typ of members) when I do changes in the menus, which increases the risk to miss something somewhere.

I wonder if I can use one single menu_data.js file and call only “Main Menu” on the open section and both “Main Menu” and “Menu2” on the member section? I guess it should be possible but I do not know how to make a call of a named menu to show only the named menu if I have more than one menu is defined in menu_data.js

Maybe someone clever can give me advice?
