I have been a V3 user for about 2 years. Trying to convert to V5. I have never seen any writeup that tells you what the basic requirements are for getting the menu to operate. I realize that you can download an example and it will work. I also know that there is a conversion utility form V3 to V5, which has some bugs in it. I have also read that the file "milonic_src.js" must be loaded first in your "htm" code followed by "menu_data". I could not get my converted menu to run until I located the two files "mmenudom.js" and "mmenus4.js" in the same directory.

I do not know what these files do, but users need to know where and what files need to be located. There also seems to be a lot of questions about the use of the variable "scriptpath" located in the file "milonic_src".
Do all the files mentioned above have to been in the same directory and does "scriptpath" point to that directory?

Couldn't you have a Basic Writeup explaining the setup procedure included in the sample downloads?

If it already exists, please make it easier to find.

Everything you posted as far as what to do and what goes where is correct. Wasn't that hard, was it? :)

As for scriptpath, most of the confusion comes because folks are not reading Andy's comments in the milonic_src.js file (right below the variable). As for what files are needed, that also can be seen from the demos.

Bottom line - there is no final documentation yet because we have been working with beta and now RC product. Andy has been spending ALL his time trying to make this the best menu around (it is), and, as he has said, the docs will come when the menu is final.

You found what you needed by doing a little bit of looking, and I don't think that's too much to ask at this point, especially for the quality product you're getting.

Could you tell me where the last 2 referened .js files are found?

A little more specific, please. Exactly which files?

They are located in the download you got, along with the doc files, etc.
