Imagemap menu's are sticking...

:?: Hello,

I am testing the new version, 5.42 and I am seeing a new issue that didn't happen in 5.02.

I have an image map (.gif) with 6 horizontal tabs. When a user mouses-over the tab, a menu drops down. This is fine.

The problem occurs when a user moves quickly to another tab, the first menu does not seem to disappear anymore. I have been through all the documentation, and have tried playing around with the "keepalive" property among others, but it still does not work.

This happens in IE 6, NS 4.8, NS 7.1 and Firefox 0.9.3

All I did to upgrade was replace the mmenuns4.js, mmenudom.js, and milonic_src.js files. My menu data stayed the same.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can not post an example because this is an intranet website.

Hi,

It was a commented part of the code that has now been re-instated.

If you update http://www.milonic.com/mmenudom.js the problem should be solved.

Hope this helps
Andy

Andy,

I cleaned my cache, exited the browser, uploaded, the new file you suggested. Restarted my browser, when I mouseover the first tab the menu drops, but any other tab I get a javascript error:

Code:
Line:17
Char 9806
Error: '_mi[...].0" is null or not an object
Code: 0

It always pops the first menu I touch, but no others.

Have you got a URL we can see?

Unfortunately, No

Andy, I am working on an intranet site, and am prohibited from putting it on an external webserver.

Side Question: If I download the entire menu package, will it contain the new file you instructed me to try in your previous post?

Yes, if you login and download the menu again, it will be the new version.

It Works...

Andy, I downloaded the entire new package, with our licensing info intact and it seems to work fine now. I still can't isolate the orignial problem, but oh well! Thanks for your time and patience.
