Using a converted Menu file with a downloaded sample...

I'm trying to use the very last menu in the list (Background Image something...) I have converted my menu_array file into all the other files. I have also downloaded the Sample menu 20 and unzipped that as a test.

Main question is, which files form my converted menu do I need to keep and which files from the downloaded menu do I need to keep?

And then, do I have to go through my whole new menu_data file and add all the extra fields to make it match the sample menu 20 file?

Just looking for the easiest way to get this all completed. :)

Thanks.

I'm not really sure I understand what you mean by what you need to keep. The milonic_src.js, mmenudom.js and mmenuns4.js are the files that are always there and don't get altered. The menu_array.js file you converted is the equivalent of the menu_data.js file in the sample but with whatever you had in your original file. If you want it like the sample, meaning the images and colors and such you would have to use that part of the menu_data.js file from the download that sets those colors and the image/overimage coding and the images, etc.

When I do the 3 to 5 converter thing, it jsut gives me a normal menu that looks like my old one which was just your standard vertical menu bar. I now want to take the same data and use it i the background image type menu. That menu has all different flags and things for the images. So do I have to take my menu_data file that it created for me in the converter and manually go through and add all the background=.... type flags to each line and then dump that into the menu_data file from the sample I downloaded?

Yes. If you want it to be like that menu. Yes, even if you have other images, you would have to use the coding of the sample but substitute your images. Do you by chance have a test page up with the converted menu? It might help if we could see your converted file to see what you actually have. Much easier to explain if we see what we are telling you to change to get the look of the menu image sample. You are aware that the one to which you are referring gives you a bg image for each menu item, not for the menu itself. That would be the sample 19.
