Scroll Bar

Using Version 5.21 http://www.baseball.legion.org/doublebar.htm

IE 6 and Opera 7

When the menu loads those menu items that require a scroll bar to appear works just fine. The scroll bar appears on the right side of the menu items.

If I manually change the viewing area by using the browser scroll bars those menu items that previously needed scroll bars no longer show menu scroll bars, but the space occupied by scroll bar still is taken up on the right side of the menu items. It's as thought the menu knows it does not need scroll bars because the window is big enough to handle items, but it does not go back to no scroll bar mode.

Hope this makes sense.

Upgrade to version 5.22 and that solves the problem

Thanks Ruth, it now works fine. I did not receive an update notice to V 5.22. I try to keep up to date. Thanks again.

I have the same problem now and I am using 5.691. Did this bug come back?

I am testing in IE 6 and Mozilla 1.0.

Thanks,
Shawn

Can you give a URL so we can check yours?

Bobwill's seems to be ok still and his code appears to be 5.691 (Wed Jan 12th 2005) as well.

Hi Andy,

I just was in the process of doing some more testing and it doesn't seem to reserve the space after all. It actually shrinks the menu (width wise) the amount of the scroll bar. I have posted a new topic (http://www.milonic.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=26634).

You beat me to updating this topic! :)

Thanks,
Shawn
