Hi There,

I purcheased a prof license for version v3.5.10 back in 2002!
Now I am trying to upgrade it with latest version 5.0, I get the message ...

"Warning, Support Expired: Your support, allowing you to upgrade, expired 348 days ago. This means that The download we have created for you is the EVALUATION COPY therefore your download will automatically contain a link to Milonic as the first item in each main menu, this is part of the free license agreement and will unfortunately affect some sample menus. "

I am aware that my support is Expired but what about my lincense?
What if I no longer need a support?
How long the lincense is valid for?
Do I need to purchase a new lincense each time I upgrade?
Isn't support and the lincense are two different issues? What I mean is if support is expired should lincense be expired too?

Regards
Shila

Shila,

The license is perpetual and never expires so you are still legally entitled to use the version you downloaded.

Support and Upgrades are renewable annually because of the amount of work that goes into keeping this menu in tip-top shape and supporting all the latest browsers.

So to answer your questions:

Your license is still valid.

You don't need to upgrade.

It's a perpetual license.

No, your existing license will be renewed.

Yes it is.

No

Hope this helps
Andy
