HOw to make clickfunction work!

Hi there,

I am having a bit of trouble with my clickfunction.
Ok, I have a list of menus that dropdown. When one of the drop down menus is clicked on, the content of that dropdown will be displayed on a frame on my page (thus, not the whole page is refreshed when a menu/submenu is clicked, but the frame only).

Ok, here is my problem. once I click on one of the menus/submenus, on do not move my cursor away from it, then the dropdown menu still stay there until my cursor is off the dropdown menu. Some users find it very annoying, thus, i really wanna get rid of it.

So I use look at menu properties and found clickfunction. then I assign it to the method closeAllMenus(); however, it didn;t work, thus, maybe the way I use it was wrong.
here is the code.

aI("text=TVC;bgimage=images/menu_dots.gif;overbgimage=images/menu_dots.gif;url=http://mywebsite_page.asp;clickfunction=closeAllMenus();");

Can someone pls tell me why the dropdown menu wont close even if the above submenu item is clicked.

Any help will be appriciated.

Regards,
Ali

Hi Ali,

We're going to need more to be able to help you. The best thing would be if you can post a url to your site... can you do that?
