Hello, I have version 5.1 of the menu system? Should I be downloading the most recent updates of the js files? Is that all that needs to be downloaded to keep up to date? Is there any cost associated?

Thanks.

Jacques

The most recent version of the menu code (currently 5.51) is all we can support. Therefore, you're pretty far behind. So, yes - always stay current at http://milonic.com/.

The three code files (NOT the menu_data.js file) are all you need to upload to your server. Always make sure you use text or ASCII mode, NOT automatic or binary with these files. There is no charge.

If you have not yet done so, make sure the menu is licensed. Again see http://milonic.com/.

John, I have downloaded the 3 files and installed them. I have purchased a license and I want to eliminate the forced Milonic link. the instructions are not very clear, it says to download the files again, how will that help?

Are you asking about the forced link in the first menu? If so, that will remove itself. Make sure you log in to the download page with the info received in your license confirmation. That's how the system knows what software to send you. The code will be personalized with your information - do NOT change it in any way.

Depending on the load at Milonic (things are pretty hectic right now), it may take them a little while to get you added to the database, even though you have received your confirmation.

got it
