Exactly what is the error? I'm not seeing a problem in your graphic.

I did look at the page, but the difference is very subtle and not easily recognized without some help (for me, anyway!).

Not sure why you have split up the _data code the way you have, and I think it may be part of the problem (I don't have Netscape to test on). See this tutorial for the proper way to place a menu in a table cell.

oh i didndt saw that i havent the script AFTER the body tag.. now i have the menu_data after it like in the tutorial (<SCRIPT>milonic_src.js
<SCRIPT>mmenudom.js or mmenuns4.js
<SCRIPT>menu_data.js (for submenus only)
)
its written on the page directly for dynamic content but i thought it makes now difference direct code or *.js file

the result is still the same the error stays (increasing height of table cell for ca. 5 px by clicking(refresh page) several times on netscape 7.1)

:(

any other options i may can try ?

It seems to work fine when I view your page in Netscape 7.2.

When the page first displays (or after I use SHIFT-Reload), the table with the navigation information does appear slightly larger, then snaps into its final size. Before that, the menu row looks like the JPG you sent--but only very briefly.

It appears that the table dimensions aren't set until the page is completely loaded, and then the table re-sizes itself visibly. In your case, however, the table row doesn't seem to re-size itself at all, and I don't know why.

that decripes exactly the behavior and it doesnt resize in an abitrary way .. maybe the reason is the browser itself - i dont know either :(

Hi,

We have made a slight alteration to the code that may well fix this problem.

It hasn't yet been released but you can get the new version by downloading the Pre Release from http://www.milonic.com/menuvinfo.php

Although the bug fix is not directly related to your problem, it may fix it because it's based on images and resizing the menu after they are loaded.

It's worth a shot at least

Cheers
Andy
