Hi ererybody!

I have in 2 days now tried to figure out if it is possible to load drop-down menus in two seperate frames.
Like in the frame menu example on the Milonic website, I have a "top frame" where the horisontal menu is, and under that frame, a left frame and a right frame.
This means that some drop-down menus must be loaded in the left frame and other drop-down menus must be loaded in the right frame.
The problem is that I don´t seem to be able to place the menu to be loaded in the left frame it the position I need. The addmenu function have parameters for specifying top and left position, but no matter what I write here, the menu won´t move. The only way I can move the menu is by specifying the top and left parameter in the addmenu function in the "top frame" (file: frames_header_array.js). But then, the position of the drop-down menus loaded in the right frame also change! And I don´t want this.

Is it posible to specify the position of the menus in the addmenu functions in the files for the leftframe and rightframe (i.e. named frames_leftside_array.htm and frames_rightside_array.htm)?

I think you will understand my problem if you go to:
http://www.johner.se/develop/menu_frames1/index.htm.

The menu system we are currently using is one that does not work well in some browsers (safari). Thats why I want to change to Milonic!

I hope someone understands my problem and can help me, we really want to use the Milonic menus since they work
really really well in Safari!

Kindly,
Sandra

Thanks for the kind words. They are most appreciated.

Best bet here is to move to our new v5 system (now at 5.51) and try iFrames. You are running v3, which is no longer supported or developed. The 5 series offers much better control, lots more features, and happy with Safari.

There is also an unsupported frames hack for v5, which you can find topics on by using the Search function.
