On using both Version 5_734 and 5_738 I am geting a new browser window open up - when previously the pages just opened in the same window. Is anyone else experiencing this (as I assume it is a bug?)

We need a link to your page to see what's going on.

I don't believe it is a bug, someone else is having the same problem but when I download the page and set it up on my desktop, I don't get any new windows. The person also discovered that all the html links on his page also open in a new window.

He is using FrontPage. If there is any way you can set up a test page for us to check out it would be helpful.

I have reported this to Milonic since this is the second post on the same issue. But, I can't duplicate the process with his page on my desktop, and I do not have FrontPage to figure out if something is getting coded that the menu is picking up.

Hi, Could I send you the menu_data.js file? I don't use Frontpage at all.

Hi,

You can post it here uing the code tag above. But, if you don't have any target=_new or target=_blank in the file then it shouldn't be opening a new window. Look for something on the page that is setting up some kind of target, for frames or something like that. I've reported the issue so will know something pretty quickly.

This is one line of the code:
aI("text=School Listing;url=/HTML_Documents/Schools/Schools_HTML_Pages/Schools_Listing.asp;image=/menu/menuimages/linedpage.gif;status=School listing...;");

Clicking on the link causes a new browser window to open - when it shouldn't.
