LANGUAGE PROBLEM - GREEK

hello! your menu is great i have tried SO MANY and its the only one that actually works and its even easy to edit!

my menu is in greek.. so when i open my page the encoding is wrong. i solved this by changing the character set to greek:

Code:
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=windows-1253">

however after i saved and reopened the menu_data.js file the character set is wrong because, of course, i have not changed the encoding in that file.. i dont know how to do that.. i have tried the right click - encoding option and chose "greek"... and the whooooole menu was converted into two characters and i cant undo and now its all lost :cry: :cry:

anw i'll type them in again but i was hoping that you would be able to help me convert to the correct character set.. while searching your forum i read that you had this problem before but fixed it..

tnx :)

Sorry about losing all your data. You can save the menu_data file when you finish it to a different name to keep a backup. I'm not really the one to tell you about converting. I don't really understand what you are saying about the converting the language. Are you saying you are typing it in English and then trying to convert the character set?

The only thing I remember about a language problem had to do with the DOCTYPE, where the page had French characters with the DOCTYPE set to Transitional//en
