i played a lot with the style, i managed to play with the color but not with the drop shadow style.

You're welcome :)

Are you saying you don't want the drop shadow? If you are seeing that in IE to get rid of the shadow eliminate that part of the overfilter code.

If you're seeing that in IE, it's only visible in IE, not in any other browser, and only IE on a pc.

If you're interested in the different things you can do with overfilter and out filter...and that would only be visible in IE on a pc... here's the IE Filters and Transitions Interactive Demo. You can apply the filters and/or transitions to the menus on the page and see what they look like.
