Obfuscated code in sample menu

Before I purchase a license I need to make sure I can edit the source. In the sample the source is obfuscated. When I purchase the license will I be able to modify the source?

In case I am unable to get un-obfuscated code, here is a description of my problem in case someone has a quick workaround. The menus need to be loaded dynamically after subsiquent AJAX calls. The document.write that is currently used to write out the menus needs to be changed to an innerHTML+= so that writting out new context menus doesn't blank out the whole page.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Hi

this is a forum from and for users, and it is astonishing that a potential users (you) intention seems to be not to recognize copyright laws, trying to modify the code (you´ve obviously had a look at the code, finding it "obfuscated").
And - even if you get a permit to "edit" the source, as you say, how would you like to update future developments and releases, once they are published ?

You requested "Any ideas" - this was my first idea, reading your post.

Michael

Anyone have any real ideas?

Anyone other than Migru Michael...

I actually don't want to modify the source. I just want to be able to pay for the license and use the Milonic menus in my application.

Hi

did you go through the archived posts ?

For instance here, if you read this, you will find, that Andy is on principle ready to assist

The menu should work fine with AJAX but will depend on the implementation.

so post - whatever you want in this regard to Milonic, I feel he/they is/are interested to get the menu to work with the Ajax-library

Note, however, that if you do purchase the menu and make source code changes there will be no support available. I believe Andy is talking about some other type of workaround for the problem.
