Menu closes over an iframe on Safari 1.3

If I have an iframe under the menu, when you drop down the menu and move you mouse over an item in the menu.
none of the menu items can be selected and then the menu closes.

I have tried to set the iframe z-index lower than the menu zindex, it does not work at all.

The environment is:
Mac OS X 10.3.9
Safari 1.3
Milonic DHTML Menu, Version 5.33

Thanks for any help you could provide.

Hi

I cannot suggest a solution to your problem, but did you try to do a Search in the archives ? You will find for example:

http://www.milonic.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5948&highlight=iframe+safari

I don´t know, if this helps, in a similar (or the same) problem, when using Opera and iframes, I have sinply requested the user ....not to use Opera....(!!). Its a known bug of Opera and not the menu system.... I think its the same with Safari.

Michael

thanks a lot for your help.

Hi

in the "Opera" case, at that time I´ve found some information in their users forum (and a promise on debugging for version 9) , maybe there is something similar for Safari (I didn´t use yet this browser as FF seems to do the job after recent updates and IE is an alternative too).
