Google translator not working in dropdown menu

hi,

we are tring to use Google translator to translate pages to different languages. it is not working in drop down menu alone.

any idea to fix this?

The spiders, at least from what I've seen, don't understand the code in the _data file, and simply leave it alone. I suspect the same thing is happening here - the translator does not see what it considers "HTML" and ignores it.

Using a list menu, when Andy completes the rewrite, would fix the problem (I've already tried it), because the list that generates the menu is standard HTML.
