SubMenus Not Appearing in IE

I just started using my 2nd licensed menu and this one won't show up in IE7 (Had no problem with the first one I bought). Thanks for any help.

Renie57,

The first thing that will will want to do is update to the latest version. You are using version 5.810 and as of this writting the latest version is 5.813. There were some fixes in 5.811 that did address some menu display issues. Not sure if this is the issue you are seeing or not, but one step at a time. So after you upgrade to 5.813 see if the issue still exist for you.

Yup and upgrade would be good but you also need to look at the colors in your menu_data.js file

You have this for the menuStyle style definition in your menu_data.js file:

onbgcolor="#0000000";

and there are seven zeros, should only be six for a correct color, like this:

onbgcolor="#000000";

That was a fast update - I just purchased this menu Dec 8. Is there a way to update without me having to redo the menu_data file with my info?

Hi,

Yes. First, so you are notified each time there is an update go to either of these topics and check subscribe or watch the topic whichever it says. viewforum.php?f=18 and/or viewtopic.php?f=10&t=3108

As to updating, download the newest version, unzip it someplace different from where you have the older version. Then go to the folder and find all the program files you need EXCEPT the menu_data.js file and upload them. Just don't upload the menu_data.js file. As a precaution, I suggest to all users that they rename their personalized menu_data.js file to something else then there is never a chance of accidentally uploading and overwriting it with the newest download.

Make sure you are logged in on the main site using whatever name you created when you licensed the menu, so you get your licensed version
