Menu doesn't show when adding new lines

My menu_data.js file is approximately 35kb in size. I have a file menu.js which contains the style, size, location and main menu headings.

Lately I've found that if I edit menu_data.js (usually trying to add an option) the menu fails to appear on the page.

Could this be because of the size of the menu_data.js file? Will downloading the latest version solve the problem?

Hi,

There shouldn't be an issue if your adding new links or new submenus, if that is what you mean by adding options. However, you should really update, your menu version is 6 years old and there have been many new developments on the web and the menu has been updated to keep up with those developments.
